On Thursday 10th November, Dungarvan Enterprise Centre was honoured to host Minister Humphreys’ TD visit to Dungarvan on the occasion of the launch of the Dungarvan 2040 Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan.

During her visit, Minister Humphreys TD, saw the newly opened co-working spaces which provide co-workers with modern, comfortable, quiet and affordable working spaces that visitors can book on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Minister Humphreys was also shown the recently upgraded conferencing facilities consisting of state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment suitable for individual and small group national and international video conferencing meetings.

As the Chairperson of the Dungarvan Enterprise Centre, Board of Directors, Prof. Bill O’Gorman, said: “It was a pleasure to host Minister Humphreys TD here at the Centre today on this very important occasion for Dungarvan town as the Minister launched Dungarvan 2040.” Prof. O’Gorman also commented on the availability of 13 private offices and 17 co-working spaces in the Centre and the Centre’s safe, secure, open, welcoming collaborative working environment. He also elaborated on the Centre’s strategy to support entrepreneurs, owner/managers, and the business community and citizens in Dungarvan, its environs and West Waterford through facilitating innovation; increasing the level of digital capability, knowledge and skills; providing the business community with incubation spaces, training, meeting and conferencing facilities and most importantly the continued development of collaborative partnerships in the region with public, private and third sector organisations.
