Dungarvan Enterprise Centre
Dungarvan Enterprise Centre (DEC) was established in 2011 through a public and private community partnership to provide a business hub in the heart of Dungarvan Town Centre.
The Centre offers a variety of office space for start-ups, small to medium sized enterprises and entrepreneurs within an historical and unique building along with a modern and a sleek hot-desking/coworking facility, Boardroom and Think Tank.
The aim is to create a business environment that encourages and supports enterprise and entrepreneurship within the Dungarvan and West Waterford region.
It is one of 120 Community Enterprise Centres (CECs) throughout the country whose main focus is on supporting start-up businesses as well as promoting and developing innovation and digital excellence in their respective regions. Dungarvan Enterprise Centre is home to a myriad of businesses ranging from education to recruitment, pharma and technology with office and coworking space for start-ups, small to medium sized enterprises, entrepreneurs and remote workers.
Office Administrator - Carmel Organ
Carmel Organ is the centre’s office administrator. Prior to joining the Dungarvan Enterprise Centre (DEC) in 2016, Carmel worked nationally and internationally in office administration in the construction and pharmaceutical sectors. She brings with her a wealth of administrative skills and is an empathetic communicator who establishes effective working relationships quickly and easily in an organised and professional nature. Carmel’s friendly and helpful nature makes her well-liked by both tenants and co-workers here in Dungarvan Enterprise Centre.
