Seminar 2 of Dungarvan Enterprise Centre’s Speaker Programme 23/24, “Career First Steps” was well attended by parents last night. Our MC for the Seminar was Dr. Joseph Moynihan, UCC.
Our main speaker was Madeleine Hearn, Guidance Counsellor, St. Augustine’s College. She gave an insightful talk about student’s options after school & how best to prepare for the applications to come.
Madeleine was supported by Elaine Moore, Deputy Principal and Guidance Counsellor, St. Augustine’s College, Mags McGrath, Trainee Guidance Counsellor, St. Augustine’s College, Tara Whelan, Guidance Counsellor, Dungarvan CBS and Helen Hogan, Guidance Counsellor, Dungarvan College.
There was a question & answer session afterwards which was well received. Many thanks to all of our speakers & to the parents who attended this timely seminar.
