What Is This Project About
We are conducting a feasibility study, which is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern, Eastern & Midland Regional Programme 2021-2027, to create a dynamic hub designed for you. Imagine a place where local food producers and farmers can:
- Test-drive cutting-edge technology to improve farm efficiency, production, and energy use.
- Collaborate with experts from industry and academia to solve real-world challenges.
- Develop innovative products and services that lead the market. Accelerate growth by reducing the risk and cost of adopting new business models.
This initiative aims to build a powerful ecosystem that embeds circular economy principles and drives our entire region forward.
Why Are We Doing This
Our goal is simple: to give businesses like yours a competitive edge. By understanding your specific needs, challenges, and ambitions, we can design a “Collaborative Living Lab” that provides practical, high-impact services— from accessing new technology and training to networking and expert support.
This project is about building on the strengths of our region and ensuring the South-East remains a leader in the food and agricultural industry.
